Job Summary:
The Ready Mix
Driver will be responsible for all duties of position, including the
transporting of freshly mixed concrete from the Batch Plant to the job site in
a safe manner. Driver will be responsible for making normal operating
adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled.
Responsibilities
Duties:
Pre-trip vehicle
inspections.
Deliver ready mix
concrete to job sites.
Must have
familiarity with slumps.
Job requires
cleaning and washing of vehicle to include the removal of concrete buildup on
all exterior parts of the mixer.
Job requires the
following motions: climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, frequent lifting of
extension chutes (up to 60 lbs), stretching, driving/sitting and shifting
gears.
Must be willing to
work according to customer demands.
Must be able to
work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary.
Must be able to
travel to various work locations based on work availability and customer
demand.
Overtime, weekend
work and nights may be required.
Can be exposed to
extremes of hot and cold weather.
Must be able to
work cooperatively with others.

Diploma or GED equivalent
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must have safe
driving record (will have to provide DMV H-6 printout.)
Must have
California Commercial Class A or B Drivers License with Airbrakes and Tank
Endorsement.
Must be able to
pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening to be considered.
No more than two
moving violations within the past 24 months.
No serious moving
violations within the past 36 months.
Seeking candidates
with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and strong customer service skills.
Must adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and
Federal regulations.
Preferred:
Experience in
ready mix or heavy construction industries
