Position Summary
Safely and
efficiently maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment required for
mining and plant operations. Includes
welding and mechanical task as required and other duties as assigned by
supervisor.
Position Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Must work safely
and promote the safe behavior in others
Four (4) years
electrical experience in mining or heavy industrial industry or completion of
two (2) years vocational school and two (2) years’ work experience in mining or
heavy industrial industry preferred
Prefer experience
in: AC and DC Electric Haul Truck Maintenance and Repair
MSHA certification
Low/Med/High voltage preferred
Experience in
trouble-shooting using computers, with emphasis on Litronic Plus and Siemens
Drive Systems
Understand and use
electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience in
installing electrical circuits, services and controls in industrial
applications in accordance with CFR 30 and the NEC
Experience working
with AC Drive and AC Motor Theory
Able to work
rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as required
Other duties as
assigned by the company
