Company seeks experienced Cost Accountant for it's Pikes Creek Site
Contractors, Hunlock Creek, PA location.
Founded in 1968,
the Company has continued to grow and has expanded it's operation to include
quarries, site contracting companies, asphalt plants, concrete plants. With
over 75 locations, these companies span
across the Eastern half of PA and into NJ, DE and MD.
The H&K Group

Job Requirements
A sampling (but
not all duties) includes:
NOTE: To be
considered for this position applicant Must Have demonstrated abilities in the
process of cost accounting.
Must be able to
apply the principals of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare
financial reports.
Knowledge of
Construction Equipment and functionality a plus.
Perform
statistical analysis to determine trends, estimates and changes.
Determine proper
handling of financial transactions and approve transactions within designated
limits
Able to analyze
complex and diverse information.
Understanding of
construction accounting and job costing practices a plus.
Understanding of
inventory control and pricing practices a plus.
Excellent written
and oral communication skills required.
Able to maintain
confidentiality.
