Position Summary
Safely maintain an
accurate control over the issuance and receipt of warehouse stock materials to
operate the mine in a safe and efficient manner.
Position Requirements
Ability and
commitment to work safely and encourage safe behaviors in others
6 months to one
year warehouse experience, preferably in mining or heavy construction or
equipment environment. Experience must include issuing, receiving, locating
parts, ordering, stocking, identifying surplus/obsolete stock, min/max levels,
inventory cycle counts, identifying critical/non-critical inventory categories.
Able to operate
all warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner. (i.E. up to
8,000#,17000#, up to 30,000# forklift,
light vehicles, floor jack).
Proficient in
computer functions to include: issuing and receiving procedures, keying
information into records system, able to identify and locate parts using PC
Knowledgeable in
Word, Excel, able to maintain Excel spreadsheets
Proficient and knowledgeable of parts
categories
Strong initiative
and good judgment, ability to anticipate and react to problems, self-motivated.
Ability to express
ideas constructively and clearly
Ability to train
others
Ability to accept
responsibility and accountability
Must be willing to
work overtime, shift work (12-hour rotating shifts), weekends
